Speech and Language Therapy helps children and young people develop the skills they need to communicate effectively. This can include support for speech sounds, understanding and using language, fluency (stammering) and social communication. Therapy is tailored to each child’s needs and delivered in a way that is fun, engaging, and practical.

Any child or young person who is experiencing difficulties with communication can access speech and language therapy. This includes challenges with speech sounds, language development, stammering, or social communication. We work with families, schools, and professionals to provide support that fits your child’s needs.

The number of sessions varies depending on your child’s individual needs and goals. After an initial assessment, we will recommend a plan that may include a short block of therapy, ongoing sessions, or advice and strategies for home and school. We review progress regularly and adjust the plan as needed.

We are happy to work alongside NHS services. Our goal is to complement existing support and ensure consistency for your child. With your consent, we can liaise with NHS therapists and schools to create a joined-up approach.

We offer flexible options to suit your family. Sessions can take place in your home, at your child’s school or nursery, or in a community setting. Online sessions may also be available for parent coaching, review meetings or where this would be clinically appropriate.
